It’s October first, and it looks like we narrowly escaped the frost and will be able to enjoy our homegrown dahlias a little longer! 🌸😅 I got nervous early this morning, noticing frost on my windshield and in a few pockets of grass. Surprise! 🎉🎊🎈The latest issue of @lovequiltingmag has dropped, so I can finally share the quilt I designed and made for it! 🤗 I’m a firm believer that a high impact quilt doesn’t have to be complicated. 🙅‍♀️🙌 Combining easy-to-piece design themes from my #cabinquilt and #moderndrawersquilt patterns, I played with fire and water shades, evocative of an ocean swim at sunset. 🏊‍♀️🌊🌅 I’m really proud of this one! Today is the last day of the Fall Paducah American Quilter’s Society show, where my quilt, “Fallen Petal”, quilted by @ccpquilt, is on display! (Swipe to see!
